    That’s ridiculous. I’ve taught begining computer classes and I guarantee that none of them would know that you can turn off the monitor and 99.9% would be afraid they would ruin the computer by yanking the cord out of the wall. They freak out if they accidentally turn the italics on.

    No way would they know what to do in this situation.
