Math is tricky

Telling time with a calculator is even trickier.

I like the subtle barb implied by the line “We have provided additional training to prevent this happening again.” That means: “We have bought our idiot employee a first-grade math workbook that includes a great big picture of a clock.”

    Where I work, the punch-clock uses percents of hours instead of minutes — so this guy would have been fine if he worked in our payroll department.

    I believe Asimov wrote a Black Widowers mystery about something similar.
