I’m a little late getting to this one, but Weird Al’s new song, CNR, is pretty damn good, and it’s improved tenfold with a video produced by JibJab, the animation company that made its first splash during the Bush/Kerry election. I quickly got tired of JibJab’s political satires — they went back to the same well a few too many times — but I love their unique animation style. Weird Al has clearly inspired them to new heights of absurdity, and the resulting collaboration is a wonderful, wonderful thing.

It’s similar in content to Jonathan Coulton’s “Kenesaw Mountain Landis”. I wonder if there are other songs out there in the same “genre”?
Ah, some other people found more examples at http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?p=10730487
Oh, phooey, I should have thought of “What Would Brian Boitano Do?”
